Kevin H. Smith Teams up with RYC to represent Wiggins & Lucedale

Making a difference in the lives of young people is and always has been important to the Founder of RYC Yuntwine English. Being from a small town in Alabama getting in trouble as a youth and having quit school in the 9th grade he has come a long ways since then. When talking to Yuntwine just today , he mention how things are looking up for RYC as a whole for everyone involved. We have noticed that people are requesting to be apart of RYC who are CEO's of firms and leaders in their communities all over the world. Mentioning Steve Meeks , CEO at Meticul Solutions and CIO at Career Athletes who has a big name from works as an Search Analyst at Google , Digital Media Strategist at Apple Rock Displays, and a Sales/Financial Services at Charles Schwab. Yuntwine said he join the group and looks forward to supporting the company in helping members reach their goals in life as well becoming future Enterpreneurs. Just last month Russell Erxleben who was a Punter for the University of Texas in the 1970's and later went on to becoming the first round draft choice by the New Orleans Saints in 1979 and his son Ryan was named all-state as a punter and defensive end at Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas was honored by RYC as father and Son of the year 2012.
  The company has a pool of programs that will hit the world by storm starting 2013 and the Gulf Coast is in the heart of it all.And yes Wiggins and Lucedale is among those big cities as well. New Co-Founder Kevin Smith of the Moss Point, MS area has teamed up with RYC to represent Wiggins and Lucedale. So to all the Represent Your City Members out there who are doing things in the city from little to big all ages. The purpose of the RYC Employees of the Month program is to recognize outstanding full-time employees of all our RYC cities who embody their company’s standards for excellence & customer service based on the C.A.R.E values.

Responsiveness  
Efficiency

In addition to these values, the EOM program will recognize those employees who show exemplary individual achievement, contribution, and performance in their jobs and other related duties beyond their own, in an effort to make the workplace more efficient and more welcoming to co-workers and customers.
The EOM program seeks to acknowledge those whose efforts have inspired and supported the performance and achievement of others.
The EOM program will provide awards to such employees by a means that is fair, with equal consideration of all eligible staff.

A City's employee who demonstrates the following will be eligible for the EOM Award:
A positive attitude toward work responsibilities, co-workers and customers, and serves as a role model for others;
A commitment to quality in carrying out job responsibilities, and is an asset to the department;
A willingness to take initiative, and accept and carry out additional responsibilities beyond regular job assignments for the good of the department as a whole.

Nomination & Selection

Committee Composition/Objectives

The committee is comprised of seven department members, which will have the responsibility for managing the nomination, selection, and award process for the Employee of the Month Program.

The committee evaluates the nomination and selects the Employee of the Month honorees each month.

Members of the committee shall serve for one year and are not eligible to receive the award during their year of service.

Criteria & Nomination

1. Three (3) employees per month shall be selected for a single award each month in the following
categories: 
1 office employee (all classification levels, not including Assistant Directors and above)
1 custodial employee
1 trades or engineer employee
 

2. Candidates for the award must be an individual, not a department, functional unit, or group of people.

3. Nominations may be made by anyone with an active affiliation within the CPFM
department (i.e., co-workers, staff, administrators, customer, etc).

4. A candidate for the award must meet the following criteria:

Nominees must be non-probationary, full-time company employees
Must have been employed at least one (1) year within the company
Can be employed at any of company in the RYC  locations
Has not been selected as employee of the Month within the past 12 months
Has a positive attitude toward work responsibilities, co-workers and customers, and also serves as a role model for others
Is productive, exhibits commitment to quality in carrying out job responsibilities, and is an asset to the staff in his/her unit
Is willing to take initiative, and accepts and carries out additional responsibilities beyond regular job assignments
Have a distinguished attendance record, is consistently dependable and punctual in reporting for duty, completing assignments on time, and participating in additional responsibilities

5. Any eligible staff member may be nominated more than once.

6. All nominations must be submitted on the form available and received by the committee by the 25th of each month in order to be considered for that particular month’s award.

7. Nominees who do receive the award for the month in which they have been nominated may be nominated again, and will automatically remain in the nomination pool.

Award Framework

Award recipients shall receive:

A visit from members of the committee to present the award, where a picture will be taken for publication in internal communications venues;
A gift of appreciation for the employee;
A letter of congratulations;
A certificate suitable for framing;
Inclusion on a plaque to be prominently displayed in an appropriate location of the company on behalf of the company and RYC.
