Visit Lucedale Library for free family history search on Jan. 11
LUCEDALE, Mississippi -- The public is invited to a free hour-long introductory workshop on researching your family history at the Lucedale-George County Public Library on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 10:30 a.m.
Volunteers from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will show you how to use the website familysearch.org to locate information about family and will provide four-generation charts at no charge to record the information.
Attendees are asked to bring as much information as possible on family history. Specific names, dates, birth certificates, military papers, and places will be very helpful in research.
